Another RuPaul's Drag Race queen is officially off the market!
Season 18 contestant Darlene Mitchell married her husband, Branden Marcus, over the weekend in a beautiful and campy ceremony attended by her fellow Drag Race queens.
Mitchell, who recently scored a spot in the top four in the currently airing season, posted about her wedding on social media.
"Anyways… it’s WEDDING DAY!!," she wrote. "TOP 4 AS A WEDDING GIFT WELL YES OF COURSE I DO THINK!"
Mitchell married her longtime partner Branden Marcus after dating for 10 years. The pair wore matching pinstripe suits — one in navy blue and the other in black — and danced together to Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time” in front of a large picture of Kermit and Miss Piggy getting married.
Her fellow season 18 competitors Nini Coco, Juicy Love Dion, Jane Don’t, Mia Starr, Vita VonTesse Starr, and Briar Blush were all in attendance, with some of them sharing video footage of the event on social media.
Don’t, who just sashayed away in a controversial elimination, posted a video of the queens dancing at the wedding on her Instagram Stories that have now been reshared all over social media.
Marcus announced that the happy couple had tied the knot by posting a sweet selfie on Instagram with the caption, “Married!”
The wedding comes more than a year after they got engaged and posted a photo in July 2024 of Marcus down on one knee, asking Mitchell to marry him.
