Roxxxy Andrews, Coco Montrese & Jasmine Kennedie Give Us a Masterclass in Reading For Filth

Reading is fundamental, and it’s not just a mini challenge on Drag Race.

In a newly-shared TikTok video filmed backstage at the RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! residency in Las Vegas, season five and All Stars 2 star Coco Montrese and season 14 star Jasmine Kennedie could be seen expertly reading each other in an incredibly entertaining back-and-forth exchange. Meanwhile, season five finalist Roxxxy Andrews sat there and had the time of her life just watching the dolls being the dolls.

“How many dusters did it take to make this coat?” Montrese asked Kennedie. Kennedie then claimed that Montrese’s wig was synthetic, but the season five alum shot back that it was human hair and asked someone off-camera to come “get your friend.”

Montrese turned to Andrews, saying: “Walmart is all out of their dusters.” In reaction, Kennedie pointed out that Montrese’s boots had come from Amazon. “Amazon!?” Montrese incredulously asked. “Oh, mama, I know you’re not calling nobody ‘Amazon.’”

Andrews sat there on her little bench the entire time just laughing and having a wonderful time while Montrese and Kennedie engaged in this friendly reading session. “Why read the girls when they read themselves?” Andrews told the camera.

Throughout the entire interaction, Andrews, Montrese, and Kennedie kept breaking character and laughing about the insults they were exchanging, making it clear that these were just sisters having a good old time while backstage at the Drag Race residency in Vegas.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue spinoff didn’t deliver what fans expected, but this is the kind of drag chaos that we love to see on our screens!
