The RuPaul's Drag Race star recently underwent a serious medical procedure.

Cynthia Lee Fontaine is ready to keep showing off her cucu!

The Miss Congeniality winner of RuPaul's Drag Race season eight, who came back to compete in season nine, recently announced that she had to undergo hip replacement surgery. Even though this was worrisome to her loved ones, fans, and drag sisters, Fontaine remained the always-positive individual that she is known to be.

On Wednesday, November 9, Fontaine posted an update as she got ready to undergo the procedure.

"Good morning: Here at the hospital with Armando and Ana. Surgery will take an hour and 45 minutes. Thank you everyone for your love and support! Ps: obsessed with my purple gown! Yasss."

The following morning, on Thursday, November 10, Fontaine thankfully shared another update explaining that her hip replacement surgery was an absolute success.

"[Hip replacement] left side was a huge success! Dr. Koening did an amazing job. Thanks to all the staff at Dell Seaton Medical center for everything! Also thank you all for your love, support, and donations."

Fontaine battled with stage-one cancer right after the filming of Drag Race season eight, but she was able to beat it rather quickly and came back to compete in season nine, where she shared her story of recovery. This hip replacement surgery was another medical obstacle for the beloved queen, but it seems like she was once again able to overcome it successfully.

We couldn't be happier for Fontaine and can't wait to see her back to performing on stages all around the world!
