It's not only the end of the year but it's the end of the decade, and with that comes more end of year content than you can shake a stick at. And if there's been a decade of drag, this has certainly been it, with RuPaul's Drag Race having come to the fore. To celebrate that, Dazed has talked to some of the show's queens in a bit of a recap.

As a part of a new feature, the publication sent a 2010s quiz to Alaska, Kim Chi, Peppermint, Aquaria, and Bob the Drag Queen. The questions were varied, asking about changes they would like to see in drag for 2020s, what social movement meant the most, and the best fashion trends. But among the questions, the series also asked for their favorite Drag Race season.

"Season 4 changed my life," Alaska responded. "When I got to see my then boyfriend Sharon go through the experience and I also experienced the pain of not making it, it was the beginning of a lifechanging journey and I'm still on it." Indeed she is. She went on to compete on the fifth season and then win the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. Since she's been a fan favorite, and even launched her own pageant with Drag Queen of the Year where they crowned Abhora as the winner. Later on, Alaska revealed that the red bikini she wore on the season five finale was her worst look on the show in her estimation.

Bob the Drag Queen agreed that season four outsold.

"I feel like it was the first time that we saw a bullied kid getting their come up (regardless of how crazy Sharon Needles ended up being in real life afterwards)," Bob said. "I thought it really showed that there is more valid drag than just being really pretty. My favourite Drag Race contestant is Monet X Change. I think she is the embodiment of beauty and hard work and talent and intelligence and personality."

Well ladies of season five through 11, fuck your drag. For those of you who missed season four, It's streaming on Hulu now.
