Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker has shared a new video in collaboration with Bravo producer and Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen in which she reacts to President Trump's recent order for the National Park Service to remove the Pride flag from the Stonewall National Monument, which is dedicated to LGBTQ+ history.

The new Instagram video shows Christopher Park, the site of the Stonewall National Monument, and three Pride flags in view.

"Question: You think if you remove our flag, we're going to not care, or remember, or continue to advocate, or forget? I'm just curious," Parker asks, narrating the video. "Yeah, we want our flag back. But just because you take it away doesn't mean you take away the history, or the community, or everybody that stands shoulder to shoulder."

In the first two hours of the video being posted, it's already been flooded with likes, comments, and re-shares.

Between likes and comments, the post has gotten support from celebrities like Kristin Davis, Jeff Hiller, Pelayo Díaz Zapico, Trace Lehnhoff, Justin Anderson, Zack Wickham, and The Property Lovers (couple).

Organizations and publications such as the Human Rights Campaign, NYC Pride, and The Queer Review have also reacted to the post.

At a time when so many allies are sneakily dodging certain subjects unless they are directly asked to address them — not to mention a list of disappointing divas who fiercely pivoted to conservative values as soon as a new administration entered the White House — many commenters have thanked the And Just Like That… actress for recording the video, narrating it, and sharing this message on her Instagram grid given that she has a huge following and reach that spans way beyond the LGBTQ+ community.
