Megan Fox is done with people complaining about her supporting a friend’s GoFundMe campaign.
Fox has been facing backlash online after she promoted a crowdfunding page for her friend Brittney Boyce’s ailing father.
Boyce, who is a nail artist, announced that her 64-year-old father was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. On Monday, Fox shared a screenshot of the GoFundMe with the caption, “If you guys are able to help, please do.”
However, critics were quick to point out that Fox has the money Boyce was asking for, and they in turn asked why Fox didn’t just make a large donation herself. Now, Fox has responded to the people she calls “weirdos.”

“Do any of you have the emotional intelligence to consider that maybe Brit doesn’t want her celebrity clients donating large sums of money to her because it creates a dynamic in her working relationships that makes her uncomfortable?” Fox wrote in her Instagram stories.
“Instead she asked me to post the GoFundMe so that many people could donate small amounts of money to help them reach their goal,” she continued. “I just obliged her request. Anything she needs from me personally she will ask and I will do it privately.”
The only real controversy, of course, is that the medical system is not set up to take care of people or help sick people get better and live. Instead, people are forced to beg for money to help survive.
