If you can't be cool, you can't be with the Countess!
Luann de Lesseps has built a cult queer following as an OG on The Real Housewives of New York City. Since 2008, the reality star has entertained fans with her iconic one-liners, self-deprecating humor, and catchy songs like "Money Can't Buy You Class," "Feelin' Jovani," and more.
With headliners that included The Pussycat Dolls, JADE, and Ava Max, it only made sense that Lesseps would join the lineup for the Outloud Music Festival at West Hollywood Pride. In an exclusive backstage interview with Out, the star teased everything coming throughout the year, including her return to Bravo on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.
"It's been crazy! It's the best of the best of the franchise. We're like sisters in a certain way! It's the Bravo family. The fans are going to really love it. It's really the badasses of the franchise, especially with NeNe coming back after all this time. It's just so good," Lesseps tells Out.
As if RHUGT weren't enough, Lesseps is reuniting with her OG RHONY castmates on the brand new E! series The Golden Life, slated to premiere later this year. The ladies are ditching the Big Apple for the sunny skies of Palm Beach, Florida in a show that promises to pick up right where they left off.
"Some things just never change! The OG's of New York have not changed. We're just living a different life, but we are authentically ourselves always. You guys are going to love it! Ramona got a little pushy with me. You're going to see! She needs a refresher on class with the Countess!"
There's no denying Lesseps' star power, but nobody shows up for her more than her LGBTQ+ fans, especially for her popular cabaret shows that she's taking on the road on The Love Tour. The singer will perform a mix of her new and hit songs, along with special surprises that will have audiences cracking up.
"I love my LGBTQ+ fans so much. They always lift me up. They always have my back and I love that. Everybody should be equal. Love is love and people are people! I've been supporting since my nursing days. It's not about who you are. It's about what you've learned! You are all my friends and I love you so much."
