Drag Race Alum Jade Jolie Just Came Out As Trans
The season 5 Drag Race queen took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that she is moving forward with her transition.
Jade Jolie is sharing her truth with the world, and we couldn't be happier for her!
In a post made to X (formerly Twitter) early Sunday morning, the beloved drag performer (who is most known for competing on the fifth season of RuPaul's Drag Race and the fourth season of The Boulet Brothers' Dragula) made the heartfelt announcement that she is "deciding to choose" herself and moving forward with her transition.
As expected, Jolie's post garnered a ton of support from her followers and peers.
"Love this for you!" Drag Race season 2 and All Stars 2 alum Tatianna wrote in a reply.
"Love you," season 7 queen Kasha Davis wrote in another.
Though she is a queen of many talents, Jolie is well-known throughout the fandom for her Taylor Swift impression, which she cemented in the history books during season 5's epic Snatch Game episode.
She even made an appearance in Swift's 2019 music video "You Need to Calm Down."
She is also one of many notable Drag Race alum who publicly came out as trans in recent years, including Jasmine Kennedie, Gigi Goode, Willow Pill, Laganja Estranja, and Adore Delano.
