Katelyn Larson, the long-term girlfriend of hunky actor Hudson Williams, is calling out Heated Rivalry superfans for crossing a line that made her āuncomfortable.ā
Larson, a tattoo artist in Canada, took to social media to ask fans of a ācertain showā to stop coming to her tattoo studio solely because of her connection to the gay hockey romance and one of the popular showās biggest stars.
āObviously a lot of you have found the studio because of a certain show and thatās more than okay,ā Larson wrote via Instagram Stories on Tuesday.
āThis is where I draw a very hard line: booking an appointment with me or anyone else purely because of the connection to the show crosses a huge territory.ā
She continued, āShowing up to your appointment and asking my coworkers any sort of questions about myself or about Hudson is hugely uncomfortable for everyone.ā
Larson told fans that if they āgenuinely like their art and want to get some cool tattoosā from her or one of the other artists in the studio, she welcomes that, but draws the line at wasting their time or trying to pry information out of them.
She ended her lengthy statement by imploring fans of Heated Rivalry to āplease stop.ā
Some fans took to social media to back Larson up and ask other lovers of Heated Rivalry to back off, but there were also people who lashed out at the 24-year-old tattoo artist for supposedly using Williamsā newfound fame for her own benefit and insulted her artistic talent.
Williams and Larson made their red carpet debut together at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in March, and Williams has posted photos of her on his social media account. These sweet moments have often been overshadowed by fans who have taken to social media to use them as an excuse to insult Larson.
Larson, who started dating Williams years before he was cast as closeted hockey captain Shane Hollander, isnāt the first star from Heated Rivalry to talk about fans going too far.
Connor Storrie removed all of his personal posts from his Instagram account and stepped away from social media because of fan reactions; Williams had to confront paparazzi who were stalking him while on vacation in Europe; many of the stars have had to deal with fans insisting they are dating each other; and FranƧois Arnaud and Williams released a joint statement calling out āracist/homophobic/biphobic/misogynistic/ageist/ableist/parasocial/bigoted commentsā from fans.
