Elliot Page Cannot Hide His Joy While Unboxing New Memoir Pageboy

This is what trans joy looks like!

We love to see how happy Elliot Page is now that he’s able to be his authentic self!

Every time the Umbrella Academy star posts to Instagram, you can see the trans joy shine through, and it’s super clear in his newest post where he unboxes the first physical copies of his upcoming memoir Pageboy.

“Okay, I have the first box of Pageboy, the physical book,” he says nervously as he opens the large box. “Wow, it’s real. Can’t wait for you to read it.”

Honestly, Page’s blush and nervous laughter are so endearing that anyone who hasn’t already made up the decision to read the book couldn’t possibly resist now.

We really cannot describe the joy we get from seeing how happy Page looks in his skin now that he’s transitioned. Every time he shares a video or photo, he’s radiating trans joy in a way that can’t help but spread to everyone who sees it.

When Page first revealed the cover for the book, he talked about how different it is now for him to be in front of a camera and focusing on himself than it was before he transitioned.

"Writing a book has come up a few times over the years, but it never felt right and quite frankly, it didn't feel possible," he said on Instagram when revealing the cover. "I could barely sit still, let alone focus long enough to complete such a task. At last, I can be with myself, in this body. So, I've written a book about my story."

"It's out next June, and I'm so excited to share its cover with you now," he continued. "At many points in my life, it felt unbearable to be in front of a camera, but making this cover with acclaimed photographer Catherine Opie was a joyful experience that I will never forget."

Now, as June gets closer and closer, we are even more excited for Pageboy! You know we will be reading!

Pageboy releases on June 6. You can preorder the book at ElliotPageBook.com.
