Colton Underwood reveals if he plans on returning to reality TV (exclusive)

The hunky star is teasing his future after a controversial run on The Traitors.

Fans haven't seen the last of Colton Underwood.

The hunky star has had a wild career in the world of reality television after a his controversial run on The Bachelor and most recently, The Traitors.

Although there's no denying that Underwood has caused quite a stir online, the star is hoping to step back into his private life and focus his energy on his husband and children.

"I'm doing a lot of development right now. I'm doing some creative directing and producing. Who knows what's next? I'm definitely moving more behind the camera. The only show I'll do in the future is The Traitors: All Stars," Underwood tells Out.

However, if his former competitors Lisa Rinna and Candiace Dillard-Bassett were to be cast on the same All Stars season, Underwood would have no interest in reigniting old flames.

"I would walk right back out of that castle. No, thank you!"

Underwood's reality TV portfolio is quite diverse besides his stints on competition shows. Fans will remember that he starred in his 2021 Netflix docuseries, Coming Out Colton, which depicted his early days embracing his queerness after a career as a professional football player (and the first lead of The Bachelor to come out). GLAAD met with Underwood while this series was in development and supported the star as he navigated his complex journey of coming out very publicly.

"The fact that they could hold my hand, be there for me and support me, from infancy of being gay meant a lot," Underwood said of the LGBTQ+ media nonprofit. "Find that one person in your life that you trust wholeheartedly. When in doubt, start with yourself. I had to come out to myself, which sounds very simple and easy, but I could not say the words 'I'm gay' for months."
