The Midwest Princess opens about a new girl she "really likes" in her latest Rolling Stone cover story.

Midwest Princess Nation, rise! Our favorite artist's favorite artist may not be acting anytime soon, but according to her, she is dating!

In a new, latest cover feature for Rolling Stone, rising queer pop star Chappell Roan opens up about the whirlwind of her life and career. While she is focusing mostly on the struggles on finding connections in the industry, Roan reportedly has started looking elsewhere — and its working! Roan opened up about a new romance in her life and the mental game she plays with love these days.

"I met this girl that I really like, but I can’t commit because I feel like no one understands me. I don’t want to date another artist because they’re fucking nuts. I’m so avoidant because I’m just like, 'She’ll never get me. She’ll never get it,'" Roan says.

We can't say we blame Roan for the feeling, as it can't be easy finding love as you rise to the top of pop music stardom. Roan continued to discuss her new connection, saying, "She’s so awesome and so secure in herself and has told me, 'No pressure, we can just be friends if you want.'"

If it were us, we would wait for Chappell Roan too! (Who wouldn't?!)

Elsewhere in the feature, Roan opened up about her career exploding and her extremely busy life. So busy, in fact, she is leaving Orville Peck's texts to her on read. (A hilarious tidbit that made us chuckle.)

Roan then went on to say that the state of her insane life is affecting how she deals with dating. "I’m just running around like a chicken with my head cut off," she said. "I’m just like, ‘What? I can’t get married!’ It is that type of delusion right now."

Dating for a normal person is tough enough, but add being a pop superstar with superfans and a packed schedule, it seems almost impossible. We hope to see Chappell Roan get all the love she deserves as she embarks on this insane pop star journey. All we can say is... Good Luck, Babe!
