Congratulations to the new fathers!

Surely, this is what Anthony Rapp is thankful for this year!

Rapp, the star of Rent and Star Trek: Discovery, and his partner Ken Ithiphol are new proud dads as they announced the birth of their second child, Keony Lee Ithiphol!

“Meet the newest addition to our family: Keony Lee Ithiphol. He was born on Saturday, November 25, 2023 (Pronunciation: kee-OH-knee),” he wrote on Instagram. “We are beyond grateful that our surrogacy journey has allowed us to meet such wonderful people and helped us to become a family of four.”

Rapp and Ithiphol, who have been together since 2016 and got engaged in 2019, welcomed their first baby boy (via surrogacy) last year around this time. Rai Larson Ithiphol was born Friday, December 2, 2022, so the end of November/beginning of December is about to become the most busy time of the year for this happy family!

“Ken and I are thrilled to share that our family has grown!” Rapp wrote on Instagram at the birth of their first son. “Our son, Rai Larson Ithiphol, was brought into the world on Friday, December 2, 2022, by an incredibly generous surrogate, to whom we are eternally grateful.”

The birth of Rai came only two months after Rapp’s court case against Kevin Spacey for alleged sexual harassment came to a close, and Rapp says the birth was a new chance for him.

“To really close the chapter on [the Spacey lawsuit] and to do so knowing that Rai was coming… to say this was a light at the end of the tunnel is an understatement,” Rapp said to People at the time.

Now, he has even more light in his life. Congratulations to the happy family!
