The two British actors, who made headlines in 2020 after they started dating after playing brothers in the ITV soap Emmerdale, got engaged in January of 2022.
Parker announced that he popped the question to his boyfriend, now fiance, in a touching Instagram post.
"He deserves the world, but the best I could do was promise him my heart," Parker captioned the Instagram post, which included a carousel of super sweet pics and videos of Parker proposing to Mochrie while the two sat beachside. "HE SAID YES. Happiest moment of my life. [Kris Mochrie], my fiance."

Former Survivor contestant Zeke Smith popped the big question to Superstore star Nico Santos while the two were presenting onstage at the GLAAD Media Awards back in April.
Talking about his history with GLAAD, which helped him after he was outed as trans while appearing on Survivor, Smith talked about representation and how this year's awards had more nominees than ever. But Santos thinks it's still not enough.
"We need more dramas, more comedies, and more love stories," Santos said.
"Speaking of love stories," he said. "Ours began here, four years ago, in our favorite restaurant, the Beverly Hills Ballroom - best roast chicken spot in Los Angeles - and Nico got me, at the afterparty, he got me a Ketel One cocktail, he lured me into his limousine, and he swept me off of my feet."
"Nico, your love has taught me how to love, you are my other half," Smith continued, as he got on one kneee. "And I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

After publicly coming out in 2021, Colton Underwood told People Magazine in February of 2022 that he got officially engaged to political strategist Jordan C. Brown shortly after his birthday in January.
"I'm extremely happy! 2021 was the most transformative year of my life," he said. "Starting 2022 off with my best friend, teammate, and now fiance is something I never thought was going to be possible."

In early August, the beloved fashion designer announced his engagement to Harrison Ball, a principal dancer at the New York City Ballet company.

The out singer-songwriter took to Instagram in August of 2022 to announce the news of his engagement to actor and longtime boyfriend -- now fiance -- David Alan Madrick.
"I love him very dearly as he has made me feel so comfortable being a Black queer man," Ross told Out about his love for his fiance, who he first met 11 years ago and had been dating for three years before they decided it was time to take their relationship to the next level. "He said to me, 'you want to do this with me?' And I said, 'absolutely and forever.'"

The actress, who is most famous for playing Tracy Turnblad in the 2007 movie adaptation of the musical Hairspray, got engaged to her fiance Hailey Jo Jenson (they/them) in September.

In April, Grammy-winning Pentatonix vocalist and artist Scott Hoying proposed to his longtime boyfriend Mark Manio on the beach while the two were vacationing in the Bahamas.
"I have never met anyone that was so kind and selfless," Hoying told People in September about his relationship with Manio while talking about the epic, romantic AF proposal. "I have always just felt so comfortable with him. Right from the beginning, we would talk for hours about things. We have so many similar interests and we have so much fun together."

Queer Eye's resident food and wine expert dropped the news of his engagement to longtime boyfriend and creative strategy director Kevin Harrington in a November Instagram post shortly after celebrating their three-year relationship anniversary.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend in November, Dear Evan Hansen stars Ben Platt and Noah Galvin -- who have been dating each other for the past two years -- both announced their engagement in an adorable post on both of their Instagram accounts, showing off pictures of the moment Platt popped the big question to Galvin.
"He agreed to hang out forever," Platt captioned his post.
