They'll be playing dueling soon-to-be mothers-in-law whose sons are getting married.

Two queens are better than one!

A recent report in Variety has revealed that queens Gabrielle Union and Eva Longoria are currently developing a gay wedding comedy movie for Amazon Studios. The two will not only produce the film, but are currently planning on starring in it as well.

"Eva and I try to take over their wedding [planning] and make it the wedding of our dreams versus theirs," Union told Variety.

We can't wait to see this!!! Union and Longoria are two of our favorite actors and producer, and Union is one of the best parents of a queer child we've ever seen, so we'd honestly watch anything from them. But this project also seems right up our specific alley!!!

The untitled project is being written by Ricardo Gamboa, a Chicago-based artist, activist, and writer who has worked in theater and been a writer on Lena Waithe's series The Chi.

Union also talked about another movie she's producing entitled Got to Be. Directed by Billy Porter, Got to Be is inspired by Union and Dwyane Wade's daughter Zaya asking to attend her first Pride when she was ten years old.

The movie will follow three Rhode Island high schoolers who travel to New York City for their first Pride.

"It's a group of diverse kids. One is a chubby Asian, another is a Black nonbinary -- I don't want to say a diva or divo, but an extravagant, dynamic larger personality -- and then there's a white bisexual boy," she said of the characters.

Union wants to make sure the cast is full of queer and trans actors. "I believe that it is important to have real representation so we're not play-acting at what it is to be queer," she said.

While not much other information about Union and Longoria's upcoming gay wedding comedy is available just yet, you can already guarantee we're excited AF to see it when it finally comes out!
