ICYMI: Perfume Genius as Egon Schiele in 'Dinosaur'

Aimed at the 50-and-over community, Dinosaur magazine features musician Perfume Genius on the cover of its still-available Fall 2015 issue. The Out100 honoree appears as the Austrian expressionist painter Egon Schiele, known for his explicit nudes and erotic self-portraits. Considering Perfume's backstory, we simply think that shooting him as Schiele is, well, genius!

"I need to give credit where it's due to Mr Neil Tennant of PSB, " editor-in-chief Steven Gdula explains, "because part of the inspiration for Dinosaur came from an interview I did with him for The Advocate back in the fall of 1999. He commented then on the issue of staying relevant as we grow older as gay men, and how difficult that could be in a youth-oriented culture."

The March issue of Dinosaur also includes a special tribute to David Bowie, and their annual "50 Over 50" ranking.
