Marc Jacobs Hosts Star-Studded Event To Celebrate 'Gloss: The Work of Chris Von Wangenheim'

Designer Marc Jacobs hosted the official New York launch party for the release of Gloss: The Work of Chris von Wangenheim, a highly-anticipated monograph celebrating the iconoclast fashion photographer. The city's glitterati came in force, channelling some of Wangenheim's provoking images with an anything-goes dress code ("No flat shoes. No matte surfaces. No natural looks."). We spotted Laverne Cox, Amanda Lepore, Lea DeLaria, Solange Knowles, and Coco Rocha dancing the night away with our very own Michael Musto, and a bunch of drag queens.

Jacobs wore a limited-edition Gloss T-shirt to gather funds for the Ali Forney Center for homeless LGBTQ youth. All proceeds from sales of the T-shirt will go to the charity.
