After outposts in Beverly Hills and Venice Beach, the timeless and leather-chic Roots has opened its first store on the East Coast. The Canadian brand has finally planted its, er, roots in New York City in a spacious gallery-style store on Elizabeth Street.
Roots is known for its leathergoods and relaxed menswear, so the store has a strong focus on these staple pieces. The open floorplan puts a spotlight on the brand's collaborations and special collections, such as the new XL Collection, a line of affordable and comfy sweats made from durable lightweight, double-knit jersey.
