Cristiano Ronaldo Loves Facials

And so do we... Get the look!

Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is visiting China, and apparently enjoying all the benefits of skincare, Asian-style.

Ronaldo shared a selfie on Instagram with his face covered in a black paper mask. Smart move, if you ask us: Face masks are a particularly enjoyable way to unwind and rid the skin of blemishes and blackheads.

Creating a solid shell as it dries, a facial mask opens up the pores, clears them from impurities, and refines the complexion. Below, our favorites to help you "get the look."

Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask by Origins, $23, 3.4 fl oz, Origins.com

The detoxifying properties of charcoal are at their best in Origins' anti-blemish mask. Particularly suited for acne-prone skin.

Lava Mask by Kyoku, $22.50, 5 oz, KyokuForMen.com

Designed specifically for men's skin, which tends to be thicker than women's, the Japanese skincare brand came up with a volcanic mud mask that purfies and exfoliates. Apply generously, let dry for 10 minutes, and rinse off.

Sea Mud Soap Bar by Erno Lazlo, $45, 5 oz, ErnoLazlo.com

A miracle product for all types of skin, this long-lasting soap bar from dermatologist brand Erno Lazlo sources mud from the Dea Sea, rich in soothing minerals. We recommend using it in the shower as a daily cleanser-slash-exfoliant, as the dark mud can get a bit messy.
