Miguel Bernardeau
Netflix

Élite star Miguel Bernardeau is one of the main cast members on Netflix’s new series 1899.

He's no angel, that's for sure!

Best known for playing Guzman on Elite for four seasons, Miguel Bernardeau is now back on our screens on the multilingual Netflix series 1899. Bernardeau plays one of the main characters on the show, Angel, a wealthy Spaniard man traveling to New York City who has a steamy relationship with Ramiro (played by Jose Pimentao).

1899 tells the story of a group of European migrants at the turn of the century who choose to travel from London to New York City on a steamship called Kerberos. Even though 1899 is a German production, the show features characters from several countries and they all speak their native languages.

Bernardeau has been a pretty busy actor since leaving Elite. Of note, he's starred in projects such as Amazon Prime Video's Caronte and HBO Max's Todo lo otro. Looking ahead, Bernardeau is set to appear on Disney+'s The Last One and Amazon Prime Video's Zorro.

Even though he generally keeps a low profile on social media, the actor is also incredibly popular online, having reached a whopping 6.6 million followers on Instagram as of this writing. Now, Elite fans can reminisce on Guzman by watching Bernardeau on this new show.

1899 is now streaming on Netflix.
