The sci-fi universe went wild July of last year when Doctor Who announced that a woman will be playing the iconic role of the time-traveling doctor.
Since the show premiered in 1963, all the Time Lords had one thing in common: they've all been men.
Well, no longer. The 13th doctor is played by Broadchurch star Jodie Whittaker.
Earlier today, BBC released the first full-trailer showing Whittaker kicking ass.
"I'm the doctor. When people need help, I never refuse," she says.
