Westworld Just Trolled Us With A 25-Minute Fake Spoiler

Westworld Just Trolled Us With A 25-Minute Fake Spoiler

Something has happened involving a sweet dog.

Westworld's creators, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, decided to spook us when they took to Reddit earlier this week with some grave news: they would spoil every single thing in the HBO series' upcoming second season. Here's what they wrote:

"We thought about this long and hard, and came to a difficult (and potentially highly controversial) decision. If you guys agree, we're going to post a video that lays out the plot (and twists and turns) of Season 2. Everything. The whole sordid thing. Up front. That way the members of the community here who want the season spoiled for them can watch ahead, and then protect the rest of the community, and help to distinguish between what's 'theory' and what's spoiler."

Shocking, to say the least. And post a video they did: a 25-minute long clip that at first appears to actually be spoiling something, until it suddenly shifts into Evan Rachel Wood singing "Never Gonna Give You Up" and then to about 20 minutes of a gentle dog sitting at a piano. So... I guess they got us good.
