ABC has ordered 11 more episodes of the hit sitcom.

Roseanne is here to stay. The show has returned to cable 21 years after its original 9-season stint ended in 1997 and just been renewed for an 11th chapter, Deadlinereports.

Season 10, airing now, contains 9 episodes--the new season will expand that number to 11. Take a look at the official announcement below:

The debut of Roseanne Barr's return to ABC had higher ratings than the series finale back in the 90s, with 18.2 million same-day viewers tuning in to catch what the fictional Illinios Connor family is up to now.

The show is poignant and relevant in that, like Barr in real life, the main character and her husband are Trump supporters, but discuss social issues at length with Roseanne's liberal television sister, the indomitable Laurie Metcalf. The new season also tackles gender issues: Roseanne's grandson is gender fluid and likes to dress in skirts and feminine clothing.

Barr has long been a political engima in Hollywood--besides her outspoken support for Trump, she made headlines for a brief presidential run of her own in 2012 via the Green Party. The President actually called Barr to congratulate her on the big comeback.
