The Handmaid's Tale Season 2 Looks So Scary

The Handmaid's Tale Season 2 Looks So Scary

Season 2 premieres April 25 on Hulu.

There's a new trailer out for the second season of The Handmaid's Tale, and it has us freaking.

The first season of The Handmaid's Tale won 8 Emmys, including for Best Drama Series and Best Actress in a Drama Series (for Elisabeth Moss), and 2 Golden Globes. It stuck relatively faithfully to the 1985 dystopian novel of the same name by Margaret Atwood. Season 2, however, seems to be poised to take much more liberty in expanding the horrifying world of the show, where women have lost all independence and special 'Handmaids' have become fertility slaves for men. The main character, Offred, is one such Handmaid.
