Ricky Martin to Play Versace’s Lover in American Crime Story

Ricky Martin is making his way back into Ryan Murphy's expansive TV universe. This time around, instead of playing a ridiculously attractive Spanish teacher on Glee, he'll be playing Antonio D'Amico, Gianni Versace's lover, in the third season of American Crime Story, according to TVLine.

The third installation of the anthology series focuses on the 1997 murder of Versace in Miami, with Edgar Rarmirez playing the late designer, Penelope Cruz playing Donatella, and Darren Criss as serial killer Andrew Cunanan.

The upcoming second season of American Crime Story will focus on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and will star Sarah Paulson and Annette Benning, but won't premiere until 2018, with season three following shortly thereafter in the same year.
