SNL Hilariously Takes Down Donald Trump, Tweeter in Chief
Saturday Night Live has not shortage of material now that Donald Trump will be the next U.S. president, and the talented cast wasted no time skewering the business mogul on his Twitter obsession.
Alec Baldwin rejoined this weekend's show, hosted by Emma Stone, as Trump, relentlessly retweeting random people while frustrated advisors try to give him a badly needed security briefing.
Sadly, not all of the retweets were jokes. Trump actually did retweet a 16-year-old high school student when defending his voter-fraud allegations against CNN correspondent Jeff Zeleny.
Kate McKinnon, as an embattled Kellyanne Conway, stared directly at the camera to say, "He really did do this."
The cold open is incredibly clever and makes you nervously laugh in that oh-my-God-this-is-really-happening kind of way. Plus, Steve Bannon portrayed as the Grim Reaper is just perfect.
