Sense8 Season 2 Release Date Announced (Plus a Christmas Special)

It's official: Netflix's sci-fi drama Sense8 will return for a second season on May 5, 2017.

What's more, the groundbreaking series will have a two-hour Christmas special available to stream on Dec. 23, according to Variety.

Apart from a thrilling plot, the first season introduced several compelling LGBT storylines, including a closeted Mexican actor (played by Miguel Angel Silvestre) and a transgender hacker (Jamie Clayton). The cast has become quite notorious for the intimacy they show on and off set-which has led a lot of fans falling in love with the multicultural and multi-faceted plotlines.
