The "Odd Couple-style" comedy will be produced by Poehler's production company, Paper Kite.

Amy Poehler's production company, Paper Kite, is set to produce a new romantic comedy sitcom for ABC called Family Style.

Difficult People showrunner Scott King will co-write the script alongside Claudia Lonow. The arc of the show is said to be based on King's own experiences, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The show, to be set in Miami, will be an "Odd Couple-style" single-camera comedy exploring the relationship between two men from very different backgrounds that fall in love in a family-run restaurant.

Paper Kite, a Universal Television-based production company, also produces Comedy Central's Broad City and Hulu's Difficult People.

No air date for Family Style has been released.
