Odell Beckham Jr. Responds to All Those Gay Rumors

Odell Beckham Jr. says he doesn't care about gay rumors.

“I always try to keep my personal life my personal life. I feel like I don't owe that to anybody.”

On top of being cute, Odell Beckham Jr.'s not homophobic! Almost every other straight man could never!! When will almost every other straight man??

In a new interview with GQpublished Monday, the magazine's August cover star sat down with special projects editor Mark Anthony Green to talk about everything from bounce music and racist double standards to how he feels about his NFL career now that he's about five years in.

One of the highlights of the Q&A comes when Green asks the Cleveland Browns wide receiver how he feels about those tabloid rumors that he's secretly gay or closeted.

"Honestly wasn't offended," Beckham says. "I've never once had no problem with anybody who has their own personal life that they live. I have friends who are gay. It was almost more funny to me. I almost messed with them even more. It's like when someone gives me an ultimatum, I'm usually always going to go to the opposite way of what you want me to go. So when they would say that, I would almost mess with them even more. I have no problem with anyone's sexual orientation."

While he doesn't really care if people think he's gay, the wide receiver does take issue with why he's been called gay in the past, whether it's being close with other men or doing something, heavy quote, "feminine" like dancing.

"So someone can't be happy, someone can't be dancing," says Beckham. "'Oh, he's always around guys, he's never around girls.' I just don't want you to see what woman I'm with, and I don't want you in my personal life. I always try to keep my personal life my personal life. I feel like I don't owe that to anybody."

He truly does not! Read the full interview here.
