This summer, Out enters its 30th year with over 300 printed issues. Here, we revisit and re-create 10 covers -- celebrating them for what they were while reimagining them for newer audiences.

When the groundbreaking Queer as Folk came stateside for a new iteration, there was much fuss about whether it would have all of the nudity of the original.

Instead of going that route, we celebrated Showtime's version on our December 2000 cover, putting the cast in fall fashion as opposed to undressing them.
