Armie Hammer Keeps Getting Asked to Autograph Peaches by Call Me By Your Name Fans
“They’re going to put that peach on a shelf because it has my signature, and in ten days it’s going to putrefy and their entire place is gonna be full of fruit flies!”
Yesterday, on the The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Armie Hammer revealed a strange admission: Call Me By Your Name fans keep asking him to autograph peaches.
By now the famous scene in CMBYN where Timothee Chalamet inserts himself into a peach is forever burned into your mind. And no, you will never be able to look at a peach the same way.

Hammer is still confused exactly what fans do with the peach once it's signed.
"They're going to put that peach on a shelf because it has my signature, and in ten days it's going to putrefy and their entire place is gonna be full of fruit flies," the 31 year-old actor said.
Hammer was on the The Late Show to promote Straight White Men, for which Hammer is a primary cast member. This is the first role he's ever played on Broadway.
