Ricky Martin Responds to Gus Kenworthy’s Missed Connections Post

Gus Kenworthy was having the time of his life at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party with his boy friend Matt Wilkas and a newly found pair of friends. Unfortunately, the two couples were separated during the night and unable to reconnect in the champagne-addled throng of celebrities.

Enter Gus Kenworthy's Instagram post mimicking a Craiglist "missed connections" ad. "Us: We were both wearing black Ralph Lauren tuxedos, mine had little cowboys on it. You: You were also both wearing tuxedos because... well, because it was the Oscar's and everybody does. You and your husband stood out though. Partly because you're both gorgeous but also because you're literally @ricky_martin & @jwanyosef," the Olympic skier wrote. "My bf and I searched for you both for the rest of the night but never found you again. In town for a week. Let's connect."

During an appearance on The Talk this week, Ricky Martin was asked about that night and Kenworthy's post. "That is so cute and clever. He's a national hero," said the singer. "We will definitely connect, Gus. I love you, brother." Watch Martin's reaction, below.
