Demi Lovato Helped Her Friend Propose to His Boyfriend Onstage During Her Concert

Demi Lovato further embedded herself in our gay hearts by helping her friend Shane Bitney Crone, a filmmaker and queer activist, propose to his boyfriend onstage during Lovato's Tell Me You Love Me Tour in Los Angeles. Crone emerged from a trapdoor in the stage during the show and asked his boyfriend, former American Idol contestant Rayvon Owen, to marry him.

"I have to give a huge thank you to [Demi Lovato] for being a supportive friend and for helping make last night possible," Crone said in a post on Instagram. "It was one of the greatest moments of my life! I also want to thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for young people, and particularly the LGBT community. Your heart, your voice, and your activism make everyone feel accepted, less alone, more empowered and more hopeful."
