She answered questions from a wide range of contemporaries covering an even wider range of topics: everything from her passions outside of music to her opinions on artificial intelligence.

Lana Del Rey is the cover star of the first American edition of the French magazine L'Officiel, and to coincide with the shoot she answered questions from a wide range of contemporaries covering an even wider range of topics: everything from her passions outside of music to her opinions on artificial intelligence.

Interviewers included Stevie Nicks, Grimes, Kim Kardashian West, Courtney Love, Alessandro Michele, Sean Ono Lennon, Marina and the Diamonds, and more.

To Kim, for example, she explained that her style influences include Lauren Bacall, Janice Jpplin, and KKW herself. To Courtney Love, she revealed her favorite Lust For Life track is "Coachella," and that she doesn't drink or use drugs.

To Grimes' question about her opinion on artificial intelligence, Lana said: "I think the advancements of AI will be benefits. I don't think it will get to the point where we are boycotting the robot community because they've taken all of our jobs."

Lana also answered fan-submitted questions, such as if she'd ever consider writing a film: "I thought about writing a biopic about someone that wasn't real. Actually, I was asked to write a musical, which I've started. It was for Broadway. I may finish in two or three years."
