“I’m gonna pass out. I can’t do it.”
Ariana Grande is no stranger to getting scared on national television. After previously braving a haunted house on Ellen back in 2016, Grande has graduated to a haunted escape room with James Corden. Yes, she still does it all in heels.
In a newly released piece of Grande's previously filmed Carpool Karaoke segment, the singer confesses to the Late Show host how much she loves getting scared. Corden asks if she also likes escape rooms, to which she says yes, but admits they aren't very scary. Corden then took it upon himself to rise to the unspoken challenge.

After finding a demonically-themed escape room, the pair venture into the dark with Grande immediately realizing what she's gotten herself into. Grande embodies the millennial spirit by talking herself through everything and swearing up a storm, even screaming "You're a bitch!" after one ghoulish girl scares her then runs away.
True Ari stans will also remember that the singer mysteriously hurt her hand filming the segment back in August, and we finally know why. Toward the end of the escape room, after freeing a trapped soul from hell, a Slenderman-esque entity crawls across the floor toward Grande and Corden and, as she flees, Grande trips over his leg and lands on her hand. "Honest to god, I'm not gonna lie," she said, waving around her bandaged hand, "don't I look kind of hard?" Watch the shenanigans, below.
