The President is Throwing Shade at Jay-Z On Twitter
Because we live in a weird episode of Black Mirror that needs to end really soon, the President of the United States and Jay-Z are currently in a (one-sided) Twitter war. The rapper, in an interview that aired on CNN this Saturday, expressed his upset reaction to the president's disparaging comments earlier this month that Africa, Haiti and El Salvador. "It is disappointing and it's hurtful. It really is hurtful, more than so ... everyone feels anger but after the anger, it's real hurtful," said Jay-Z.
"Everyone feels anger, but after the anger it's really hurtful because it's looking down at a whole population of people and it's so misinformed because these places have
beautiful people and beautiful everything. This is the leader of the free world speaking like this," he added.
The president responded almost immediately with a tweet that had literally nothing to do with Jay-Z's comments.
\u201cSomebody please inform Jay-Z that because of my policies, Black Unemployment has just been reported to be at the LOWEST RATE EVER RECORDED!\u201d— Donald J. Trump (@Donald J. Trump) 1517145512
When it comes to shade, the president attacks like a teenage girl: swiftly and irrationally.
