Beyonce has written the foreword to Prince's new book, Prince: A Private View, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The book is a collection of mostly unseen pictures featuring the late Prince, all taken by his close friend of 20 years, Afshin Shahidi.
Not only are there never-before-seen images shown exclusively on EW, but they also share a teaser from Beyonce's personal foreword to the photo album: "Truth be told, the word 'icon' only scratches the surface of what Prince was and what he remains to me."
Prince: A Private View releases October 17.
