Can you believe it's already been four years since Frozen entered the Disneyverse and exploded into a global phenomenon? Though we've known for a while that the story of Elsa and Anna was making its way to Broadway, now we're getting a first glimpse at the stage version of the wildly popular film, slated to debut in the spring of 2018.
Notable names aplenty are attached to the project, including the head of Disney Theatrical Productions, Thomas Shumacher, and the music and lyrics genius behind "Let It Go," Kristen Anderson Lopez and Robert Lopez. The duo had to triple the number of songs from the animated film version of the story, squeezing a whopping 21 into the stage production.
The behind-the-scenes look gives a glimpse into the choreography of the show, along with peeks at the bubbly Patti Murin as Anna, and the reserved Caissie Levy as Elsa. Frozen is slated to take up a residency at the St. James Theater starting next spring, until then you can find more information, here.
