With the singer's latest album, CollXtion II, still very fresh in people's minds, it's a bold move to draw attention away from a strong single, but one Allie is pulling off. "'Paper Love' is about self-sacrifice and knowing that someone or something is going to rip you apart like paper, and you're in a vulnerable state, but just doing it anyway," she told OUT. "I backlogged it in my brain as something I'd like to finish and explore at some point, and then last summer I pursued it."
