Khalid Soulfully Covers Frank Ocean's 'Lovecrimes'

There was only one thing that was going to get us through to the end of the week safely, and we really didn't think we were going to get it: a stripped-down, indie cover of a Frank Ocean deep cut. But, as fate would have it, singer/songwriter Khalid just blessed us with exactly the final boost we were praying for: a rendition of 2011's "Lovecrimes" accompanied only by a guitar.

In March, Khalid released his debut R&B album, American Teen, and immediately rose to the forefront of our new music radar. His album single, "Location," reached number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100, and he recently performed it on Jimmy Fallon, where he also talked about the inspiration behind the song:
