There was only one thing that was going to get us through to the end of the week safely, and we really didn't think we were going to get it: a stripped-down, indie cover of a Frank Ocean deep cut. But, as fate would have it, singer/songwriter Khalid just blessed us with exactly the final boost we were praying for: a rendition of 2011's "Lovecrimes" accompanied only by a guitar.

In March, Khalid released his debut R&B album, American Teen, and immediately rose to the forefront of our new music radar.
