Rogue One Promises Espionage and Subterfuge in First Official Trailer

It's going to be another Christmas spent in A Galaxy Far, Far Away. During NBC's primetime Olympics coverage last night the first official trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story premiered, and it didn't disappoint.

The film, which takes place between the happenings of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, follows the upstart Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) after she is tasked with gathering information on the original death star. The trailer is replete with classic, goose bump-inducing Star Wars scenes of looming star destroyers, alien skies, and even a closing glimpse of Darth Vader. Watch below.
