Sarah Jessica Parker Does Divorce and Therapy in Teaser for New HBO Series

It's been 12 years since Sex and the City (the series) ended, and HBO has yet to fill the Sarah Jessica Parker-shaped hole it left in our hearts - until now.

Today SJP shared the teaser for her new HBO series, Divorce, on her Instagram account and, while the show noticeably lacks the light, effervescent humor that permeated SatC and other similar series of the late '90s and early 2000s, it appears to have today's dry wit and deliveries down pat.

Parker will plays Frances, a New Yorker who wants to divorce husband Robert (Thomas Haden Church) after an "emotional affair." Molly Shannon, who appears briefly in the teaser, will no doubt provide comic relief. Watch below.
