New Book Claims Marlon Brando and James Dean Were Into Kink
In James Dean: Tomorrow Never Comes, a friend of Dean claims that he and Brando had a dominant/submissive relationship.
Rumors of James Dean and Marlon Brando's love affair are nothing new. It's been the subject of gossip for decades.
But a new book goes a step further, claiming that the two were involved in a S&M relationship. In James Dean: Tomorrow Never Comes, a friend of Dean named Stanley Taggart says that the couple's kink involved leather and sado-masochistic sex in which Brando was the dominant master and Dean was the submissive slave.
"I got the impression that Jimmy was engaged in a cat-and-mouse affair with Brando, with Brando being the cat, of course," Haggart claimed. "Brando seemed to be toying with Jimmy for his own amusement. I think Brando was sadistically using Jimmy, who followed him around like a lovesick puppy with his tongue wagging."
Still, there is a good chance the claim isn't true. The authors, Danforth Prince and Darwin Porter, are infamous for their sensational fabrications of dead celebrities' sex lives knowing that their subjects cannot sue.
