What would Channing Tatum be like if he existed during the Golden Age of Hollywood? Turns out there would be less gyrating and more euphemism-laden singing.
In a new clip from the upcoming Coen brother's Hail Caesar!, Tatum gives us his best Gene Kelly while, bedecked in full sailor costume, he sings about the lack of dames out at sea. Octopusses, clams, and mermaids just won't cut it.
"He's a song-and-dance man," Tatum said of his character, Burt Gurney, in an exclusive clip premiered by People. "Burt is the kind of actor who has an outfit for everything. He has an eating-dinner outfit, his soul lives in his hair. I think he's kind of a moron. A lot of the actors in this movie are portrayed as morons, which I think is hilarious."
