Nine-year-old C.J. Duron was surprised Monday with a special Halloween visit from the inspiration for his costume when Bob the Drag Queen showed up for trick-or-treating.
Monday night on ABC News, C.J. dressed as Bob from the "Purse First" music video and Bob as his glam self hit the streets of West Hollywood to collect candy.

Bob, the reigning champion of RuPaul's Drag Race, was alerted to the boy's costume choice through a blog post by C.J.'s mom, Lori, who also revealed that the drag star was a great source of inspiration to her genderqueer son.
"Bob, RuPaul and all the queens are brave, strong heroes for my rainbow son," Lori wrote. "They've taught him to celebrate his uniqueness, cultivate his own style and let criticisms roll off his back. They've taught him the importance and power of loving himself."
After C.J.'s uncle helped him get ready for the night's festivities, he was adorably shocked by a knock on the door from his hero, Bob the Drag Queen.
