Frito-Lay is going gay. Kinda. With Rainbows -- a "bold" limited-edition flavor inspired by the pride flag -- Doritos is supporting LGBT causes with more than one color chip and encouraging everyone to be #BOLDANDBETTER. It's also a celebration of the five-year anniversary of the It Gets Better Project, co-founded by Dan Savage and his husband Miller, which shared its first video in September 2010.
Rainbows is intended to bring "an entirely new product experience to our consumers to show our commitment toward equal rights for the LGBT community and celebrate humanity without exception."
So how do you get your gay Doritos? If you donate $10 or more in support of the It Gets Better Project, will be mailed a bag of Doritos Rainbows chips, while supplies last.
