Charlie Hunnam looks stunning in the new issue of V Man(on newsstands Sept. 17). Plus, he's up to telling more about some of his recent acting choices.
"Oh it was the worst professional experience of my life," Hunnam says when asked what it was like to turn down the role of Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of the 50 Shades of Grey. "It was the most emotionally destructive and difficult thing that I've ever had to deal with professionally. It was heartbreaking."
But he says it wasn't because it was the S&M content, especially since he started out his career as a boy toy on Queer as Folk. "The outside perception of that was that I got really cold feet and got scared of the explicit nature of the sexuality of the piece. When I was 18, I was getting fucked in the ass, completely naked on national TV, y'know?"
But after seeing him stripped down and painted up, who cares? Check him out below.
