Nobody in the history of sculpture has had more fun at a wax museum than Sam Smith had yesterday at the unveiling of his Madame Tussaud's waxwork.
The "Stay With Me" singer ventured to San Francisco to usher his wax likeness into the world.
"I can't actually believe that I'm going to be in Madame Tussaud's. This is the ultimate 'pinch yourself' moment," he said according to Attitude.
"The process was so fascinating and I will never look at a wax figure in the same way again. Thank you Madame Tussauds, and hope you all have fun. Feel free to squeeze my wax bum!"
Last week, Madame T's teased us with a video of Smith posing for his figure and now we get to see how it turned out.
While there, Smith got to have some choice encounters with the waxen facsimiles of some major A-listers.
He got up close and cheekly with Neil Patrick Harris.
He had breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey Hepburn.
Lucky guy got to cuddle with Leo Dicaprio.
He helped ET get home.
He got into a habit with Sister Act-era Whoopie.
And he looked up his own nose--which apparently was a life-long dream of his.
His own wax sculpture lives in the museum's Music zone, and stands alongside artists like Adele, Sir Elton John, Lady Gaga and Madonna.
