Following Unbroken, her directorial debut, Angelina Jolie Pitt's next project finds her acting opposite real-life husband Brad Pitt.

Jolie Pitt wrote, directed, and produced By the Sea, which follows Roalnd (Pitt), an American writer, and his wife, Vanessa (Jolie Pitt) as they arrive in a "tranquil and picturesque" seaside resort in 1970s France, in the midst of a marital crisis. The couple meets fellow travelers and village locals, all while coming to terms with unresolved issues in their own lives.

The film's style is inspired by European cinema and theater from the '60s and '70s in its treatment of themes and the human experience. Watch below.
