The Ladies of Orange Is The New Black Are Taking Over Your Newsstands

Orange New Black Essence Rolling Stone

Netflix's hit series returns June 12

The stunning ladies of Orange is the New Black grace the covers of Essence and Rolling Stone this month.

Essence's Body Issue cover features transgender activist Laverne Cox surrounded by co-stars Uzo Aduba, Danielle Brooks, Vicky Jeudy, Adrienne C. Moore, and Samira Wiley, all wearing... orange. The story celebrates the many shapes and sizes of the beautiful women featured in the show.

Danielle Brooks, who plays Taystee, told Essence:
"Being [my size] in this industry is so rare, but regular people look more like me than runway models. To show beauty in a different way really lights me up inside. That's so cheesy, but it does."

Taylor Schilling and Laura Prepon make things hot on the new cover of Rolling Stone. Inside the issue, TV's favorite lesbian couple join castmates Laverne Cox, Uzo Aduba, Selenis Leyva, Dascha Polanco, and Natasha Lyonne as well as show creator Jenji Kohan for an interview about the third season, and speak of the show's "no assholes" rule. The third season of Orange is the New Black premieres June 12 on Netflix. The new issue of Rolling Stone is available for download June 5; Essence's Body Issue will be out June 12.
